Platform notes for Windows and Linux, and building from source.

Windows

Run the x64 setup installer. The build is unsigned, so Windows shows "Windows protected your PC" on first launch. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Default shell detection tries pwsh.exe, then powershell.exe, then cmd.exe. WSL distros are available as per-tab environments.

Linux

Packages are published as .deb, .rpm and AppImage. The AppImage needs FUSE; without it, extract and run:

macOS

No macOS build has been published yet. You can build from source.

Build from source

You need Rust (stable), Node 20+, pnpm and the Tauri prerequisites for your platform.
